2023-24 Women’s March Madness odds: South Carolina favored, Baylor surging
Day 1 for Women’s NCAA March Madness is in the books and the tournament is fully underway.
No. 5 Baylor’s odds surged up the board to +21000 from +50000 after defeating No. 12 Vanderbilt 80-63.
A team to watch in the Regional 4 bracket is Texas. Even though the Longhorns are a No. 1 seed, their odds of winning it all moved to +2100 from +1600 over the past two days. They easily defeated Drexel 82-42 in their opening game on Friday.
Another team to watch in the Regional 4 bracket is Gonzaga. Unlike Texas, however, the Zags’ odds shortened, moving to +10000 from +50000.

Still at the top of the oddsboard at -145 are the South Carolina Gamecocks.
They remain such heavy favorites that FanDuel Sportsbook is offering an intriguing betting prop: the Gamecocks against the rest of the field to win the title.
You read that right: Bettors who take the field (+115) get every other team in the tournament.

According to one oddsmaker, South Carolina winning would be bad business for his book.
“In the women’s tournament, we need a long shot to win it all — hopefully longer than a Caitlin Clark three,” said Seamus Magee, Trading Manager for BetMGM. “All of the favorites — South Carolina, Iowa and LSU — are liabilities for BetMGM.”
Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes are second on the oddsboard at +700, followed by the defending national champion LSU Tigers at +800.
Let’s check out the odds.
