2023 College Football odds: Colorado odds to win Pac-12, national championship
Is the Cinderella story over for Coach Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes after losing to the Ducks and then USC in back-to-back weeks? And can they climb back up the oddsboard?
The Buffs suffered a 42-6 Week 4 rout at the hands of Oregon and then lost a close 48-41 to the Trojans in Week 5. Now Colorado is 3-2 ahead of its Week 6 matchup against unranked Arizona State. The team’s early success in the season, combined with two consecutive losses, has led to the odds shifting across the board.
In Week 3, the Buffs defeated rival Colorado State 43-35 in double overtime and the team’s odds to win the Pac-12 were +2800 (bet $10 to win $290 total) at FanDuel before the Oregon matchup. Now, those odds have lengthened all the way to +50000. That’s a huge swing from +10000 to win the conference, which is where the squad was entering the season. But that’s not the only market that has seen a shift in Colorado’s odds.
At the beginning of the season, Colorado’s odds to win the College Football Playoff were +25000. Now those odds are an incredibly long +100000.
