Bo Nix throws for a career-high six TDs in Oregon’s win over Arizona State

Nix threw a career-high six touchdown passes – all in the first half – in the No. 6 Ducks’ 49-13 win at Arizona State.

Nix was 24-for-29 passing (82.8%) for 404 yards. He has 35 TD passes and just two interceptions this season.

Meanwhile, Daniels also threw six TD passes on Saturday and accounted for 509 total yards in LSU’s 56-14 nonconference win over Georgia State.

Daniels was 25-for-30 passing (83.3%) for 413 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions and ran for 96 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.

Daniels accounted for eight touchdowns against the Panthers, tying the school record set in 2019 by Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow (seven TD passes, one TD run) against the Oklahoma Sooners in the CFP semifinals.

Daniels’ odds shrunk all the way from +480 to +120 after his performance.

Penix Jr. fell to third after he was 13-for-28 passing (46.4%) for 162 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and ran for a 5-yard TD in No. 5 Washington’s 22-20 win at No. 11 Oregon State. His odds lengthened from +280 to +500.

Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. saw his odds tumble from +480 to +3300 after he was held to three catches for 30 yards and a TD in No. 2 Ohio State’s 37-3 win over Minnesota.

Unfortunately, Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis, who was tied for sixth in odds heading into the weekend (+5000), was carted off the field in what looked like a severe leg injury in No. 4 Florida State‘s 58-13 win over North Alabama. FSU did not give an update as of late Saturday night.
