The NFL season kicks off Thursday, meaning bettors are diving into the upcoming season’s awards markets.

One betting market seeing action is Offensive Rookie of the Year.

To no one’s surprise, Caleb Williams, who was drafted first by the Chicago Bears, is the current favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year honors next season at +135.

Can the subsequent quarterbacks taken challenge the early favorite?

Let’s look at the rest of the OROY betting board at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Sept. 3.

2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds:

Caleb Williams, Bears: +135 (bet $10 to win $23.50 total)

Jayden Daniels, Commanders: +475 (bet $10 to win $57.50 total)

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)

Bo Nix, Broncos: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)

Malik Nabers, Giants: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)

Drake Maye, Patriots: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

Xavier Worthy, Chiefs: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)

Despite not being named the starter in New England, Drake Maye — the third QB taken in the 2024 draft — saw his odds take a big leap, from +3500 to +2000 over the past two weeks.

It’s potentially because Pats head coach Jerod Mayo said that Maye outplayed the will-be starter Jacoby Brissett in the preseason, possibly leading to the belief that Maye could take over the starting job at some point this season.

Still, Williams has been and remains the favorite to win the award, even though he only attempted 20 passes in the preseason, completing 10.

One FOX Sports analyst, Nick Wright, is so bought-in on Williams that he predicted the Bears will make it to Super Bowl LIX, where they will fall to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wright went as far as to call Williams “Patrick Mahomes 2.0.”
