2024 College Football Championship odds: Georgia back on top, Tide take tumble
Georgia defeated Texas 30-15 in Week 8 of the college football season, and now the Dawgs are the new favorites leading the way on the College Football Playoff championship oddsboard.
They moved up the board to +360 from +500 after beating the Longhorns in Austin. Before the start of the season, the Bulldogs opened as the favorites to win it all.
This season, however, the College Football Playoff will feature 12 teams instead of four.
So with that in mind, let’s dive into the championship odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 21.

Ohio State Buckeyes: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
Texas Longhorns: +475 (bet $10 to win $57.50 total)
Oregon Ducks: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Penn State Nittany Lions: +1300 (bet $10 to win $140 total)
Tennessee Volunteers: +1500 (bet $10 to win $160 total)
Clemson: +1600 (bet $10 to win $170 total)
Miami Hurricanes: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
Alabama Crimson Tide: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)
Ole Miss Rebels: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
Texas A&M: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)
LSU: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)
Notre Dame: +4000 (bet $10 to win $410 total)
Behind Georgia is Ohio State at +400.
The Buckeyes’ odds shortened slightly from +450 during their bye week.
Texas fell to third on the board, moving to +475 from +370 after its loss to Georgia.
A team taking a huge tumble is Alabama.
The Crimson Tide lost to Tennessee 24-17, and their title futures fell to +2000 from +900.
LSU stayed put at +3500, and Notre Dame also sits at +4000 for the second week in a row.
