2024 March Madness odds: UConn favored to win NCAA Tournament, Duke rises
And then there were eight!
March Madness has been — in the best way — absolutely mad!
Twelve underdogs in the Round of 64 won outright, including No. 14 Oakland defeating No. 3 Kentucky 80-76. In the second round, which was great for the sportsbooks.
And then there were a couple of Sweet 16 stunners. No. 1 North Carolina fell 89-87 to No. 4 Alabama, and No. 2 Arizona lost 77-72 to No. 6 Clemson.
Now that we are down to the Elite Eight, the defending champion UConn Huskies remain the overwhelming favorites to win the men’s college basketball national title. Their odds moved to +100 from +210 after defeating San Diego State in the Sweet 16.

The Houston Cougars were the second favorites to win it all at +600, but their season came to a disappointing end Friday night.
The Boilermakers now sit second on the betting board to win it all. Their odds jumped significantly from +600 to +300 overnight after the Cougars’ loss.
That said, Duke and NC State made the biggest leaps in terms of title odds. After defeating Houston, the Blue Devils’ odds of winning it all shortened from +2100 to +850, while NC State jumped from +10000 to +3000 after defeating Marquette.
The tournament has been full of surprises. Who do you think will lay claim to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Title?
