The Mavericks are now the second betting favorites to win it all, after Luka Doncic hit a game winner to put them up 2-0 in the series.
In the Eastern Conference Finals, Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton left in the third quarter of Game 2 with a left hamstring injury.
A previous left hamstring strain sidelined him for 10 games in January.
Currently, his health for the rest of the series is questionable, although Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle reportedly said that he hopes Haliburton’s injury is a “very short-term aggravation.”
The injury news moved Boston’s odds to win the conference to -10000 from -1200 and its odds to win the championship to -200 from -165.
Just as the injury news shortened Boston’s ECF and NBA title odds, it lengthened Indiana’s.
The Pacers’ odds to win the conference moved to +3000 from +750 overnight, and their odds to win it all shifted to +8000 from +3500.
The Celtics’ Game 2, 126-110 win over Indiana puts them up 2-0 in the series.
