2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year odds: Hutchinson favored; Bosa, Jones rising
Week 4 of the NFL season has come and gone, and there is a scrap at the top of the oddsboard to win Defensive Player of the Year.
Detroit’s Aidan Hutchinson has held on to the top spot dating back to Week 2, but he’s not without competition.
How do the rankings look headed into Week 5?
Here’s a list of the favorites to win 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year via DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 2.
NFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR ODDS:
Aidan Hutchinson, Lions: +250 (bet $10 to win $35 total)
T.J. Watt, Steelers: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)
Nick Bosa, 49ers: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)
Chris Jones, Chiefs: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)
Maxx Crosby, Raiders: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Myles Garrett, Browns: +1600 (bet $10 to win $170 total)
Micah Parsons, Cowboys: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
Fred Warner, 49ers: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
Hutchinson was nothing short of dominant in Week 2 against the Buccaneers, racking up 4.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, five QB hits and a forced fumble. In Week 3, he had a sack and six total tackles in Detroit’s win over the Cardinals. With that, he moved from +400 to +250.
On Monday Night Football in Week 4, he tallied three QB hits.
Hutchinson is the league-leader in sacks with 6.5 through three weeks.
As for other names moving up the oddsboard, San Francisco’s Nick Bosa and Kansas City’s Chris Jones have catapulted to third and fourth, respectively.
Bosa, in Week 4, racked up a sack, a forced fumble, a recovered fumble, five combined tackles, a tackle for loss and a QB hit in the Niners’ 30-13 win over the Patriots.
On the same weekend, Jones had two sacks, four combined tackles, three QB hits and two tackles for loss in the Chiefs’ 17-10 win over the Chargers.
