Week 8 of the NFL season has come and gone, and there is a familiar face atop the oddsboard.

Detroit’s Aidan Hutchinson had held on to the top spot for multiple weeks, but he suffered a fractured tibia and fibula against the Cowboys in Week 6.

He is presumed out for at least the rest of the regular season, and with that, he fell off the board entirely.

How do the rankings look now?

Here’s a list of the favorites to win 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year via DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 29.

NFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR ODDS:

T.J. Watt, Steelers: +100 (bet $10 to win $20 total)

Will Anderson Jr., Texans: +450 (bet $10 to win $55 total)

Chris Jones, Chiefs: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)

Dexter Lawrence II, Giants: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)

Xavier McKinney, Packers: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)

Nick Bosa, Raiders: +1500 (bet $10 to win $160 total)

Hutchinson exited the regular season as the league-leader in sacks with 7.5. Second was the Giants’ Dexter Lawrence, who had seven through six weeks.

But in Week 7, Lawrence recorded two more sacks in the Giants’ loss to the Eagles, and now is the league-leader with nine. He did not record a sack in Week 8.

Watt remained atop the board after Week 8, after recording two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

He is tied for first in forced fumbles in the NFL.
