The major NFL offseason activity is in the books, and bettors are already diving into wagering on next season’s awards.

One spot in particular seeing some action is the market for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

As projected, Caleb Williams was drafted first by the Chicago Bears, and the quarterback out of USC is now the favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year honors next season.

Let’s dive into the odds for some of the names at the top of the board (via DraftKings Sportsbook).

* odds as of 6/10/24

At +135, Williams has seen his odds shorten from +155 over the past two weeks. He sits ahead of Daniels and Harrison, who flip-flopped on the board. Daniels took over the second spot at the end of May.

Nix also made a leap up the board, moving from +2800 in the middle of last month to +1800 as of June 10.

J.J. McCarthy’s odds are also on the move but not in a favorable direction. He shifted to +1200 from +1000 since June 1. There are also reports that he could end up being QB3 for the Vikings instead of being named their Week 1 starter.

A little further down the list at +4000 is Bowers, widely viewed as a generational talent at tight end.

FOX’s Greg Olsen, a former Pro Bowl tight end, shared with Colin Cowherd on “The Herd” why he’s so high on Bowers.

“I think if he would have been able to come out the previous draft, I think you’re talking a top-five, top-seven pick. He might be the best college tight end — production-wise, eye test — that I’ve ever really seen. His size, his ability to run in the open field; I mean, he’s playing SEC football, catching 12-yard dig routes and outrunning secondary defenders from LSU, Alabama. He’s not beating up on small town guys.

“He’s really impressive. I think they got a steal with him.”
