*odds as of 9/4/24
Christian McCaffrey has the shortest odds at +700 to have the most rushing yards in the regular season in 2024. That line is slightly longer than +650, which is where it was in July.
In 2023, CMC’s 272 carries were tied for second in the NFL, and his 1,459 yards ranked first. The 49ers’ back still has the best odds, despite being sidelined recently with a calf injury.
Third on the list is Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson at +750. He’s surged up the board from +1900 over the past two months. In 2023, he had 214 carries and 976 rushing yards.
Can he dominate this season in the Falcons’ new-look offense?
Further down the list is Raiders’ Zamir White at +3000. His odds have shortened slightly from +3300 over the last two months.
Over the summer, White was a hot commodity.
In July at BetMGM, money poured in on him to lead the league in rushing this season. At the time, he had the most tickets bet on him, at 27%, and the highest handle percentage at an astounding 43.5%.
And at the end of August, he was still the biggest liability in that spot.
White has appeared in 31 games in his first two seasons, starting in only four. He has a career total of 521 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Other notable movement includes Saquon Barkley shifting to +1100 from +1500, Breece Hall shortening to +700 from +1100 and James Cook lengthening to +3000 from +2700 since the beginning of July.
