2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds: Daniels’ odds shorten after Hail Mary

A Week 8 Hail Mary gave Jayden Daniels his sixth professional win — and it just might have given him the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, too.

The NFL weekend schedule featured a head-to-head matchup between 2024 No. 1 pick Caleb Williams and the No. 2 pick in Daniels.

Williams’ Chicago Bears entered having won three in a row, while Daniels’ Washington Commanders had won five out of six.

Well, make that six out of seven for Washington, after what could end up being the play of the year.

Let’s look at the OROY betting board at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 28.

2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds:

Jayden Daniels, Commanders: -400 (bet $10 to win $12.50 total)

Caleb Williams, Bears: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)

Bo Nix, Broncos: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)

Malik Nabers, Giants: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

Brian Thomas Jr., Jaguars: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)

At this point, it appears to be a two-man race between Daniels and Williams, with Denver’s Bo Nix looming.

But after Week 8, Daniels has put even more distance between himself and the competition.

He was at -145 just a week ago, but the Hail Mary moved him to -400.

Williams, a week ago, was at +115, before dropping to +650 with the loss.

Meanwhile, Nix moved from +2500 to +1400 after the Broncos earned their fifth win in six games.
