2024 Olympics basketball odds: Anthony Davis heavy favorite to lead Team USA in rebounds

The Paris Olympics are well underway, and the men’s basketball squad for Team USA has dominated the competition so far, defeating Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico.

On a recent episode of “Undisputed,” FOX Sports contributor and NBA champion Paul Pierce said that Davis is the “backbone of the defense.”

“To me, the most important player in all of this has to be Anthony Davis,” Pierce said. “Anthony Davis changes the game every time he starts, comes off the bench or plays — he changes the game.

“He’s a utility guy, he sets screens, he back picks, he rolls to the basket, he catches lobs, he gets offensive rebounds. … He’s the most important player.”
