With the WNBA season in full swing, title odds are already on the move.

After the WNBA Draft, reigning champion Las Vegas’ odds moved to +100 after opening at +115.

Now, at 4-2, those odds have shifted to +105.

The 7-2 New York Liberty are another team to watch. New York’s championship futures are +180 — second on the oddsboard behind the Aces.

Over the weekend, Indiana got its first home win of the season by defeating Chicago 71-70. But that wasn’t the story of the game.

What became the story was Chicago guard Chennedy Carter’s foul on Clark, which was later upgraded to a flagrant-1 after the game.

On Monday, Colin Cowherd addressed the flagrant foul and pondered why Clark’s teammates did not get involved.

“Chennedy Carter is the Patrick Beverley of the WNBA,” Cowherd said on “The Herd.” “She’s on her third team. Feisty as hell. Tough, intimidating and physical. No. 1, why didn’t one of Caitlin Clark’s teammates defend her?”

“Caitlin Clark is more-than built for this,” Cowherd continued. “The ultimate respect isn’t pandering and placating to women’s basketball. It’s accepting that sometimes, it’s physical, tribal, intimidating and uncomfortable — the best kind of basketball.”
