2024 World Series odds: Yankees favored; Dodgers second
The MLB regular season is complete, October baseball is here and there’s a new favorite to win the Fall Classic.
The New York Yankees sit atop the oddsboard as the lone favorite to win the World Series at +380.
The Dodgers are now second on the board at +425, moving from +350.
For bettors thinking about backing the Dodgers — the former favorites — FOX Sports writer Rowan Kavner suggests L.A. might have a tough road ahead.
“Considering the state of their rotation, it stands to reason the Dodgers will need to outhit and outslug their opponents to outlast them throughout October,” Kavner noted. “It’s a dangerous way to live, but it has to be the blueprint to success.”
Let’s take a look at every team’s updated 2024 World Series odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 8.
