Shedeur Sanders is once again the favorite to get drafted first in the 2025 NFL draft.

At the end of April, Sanders opened as the favorite in this spot. But as recently as a week ago, his odds had gotten as long as +850, dropping him to fourth on the list.

Now he’s back on top with the shortest odds at +450.

In the Buffaloes‘ Week 8 34-7 win over Arizona, he passed for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

He complemented that effort with his ground game, rushing for six yards and one TD with his legs.

Let’s take a look at the odds to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft at FanDuel Sportsbook as of Oct. 22.

Is Shedeur Sanders the best QB in College Football?

After Sanders is Georgia’sCarson Beck.

In the Dawgs’ 30-15 win over Texas, he only passed for 175 yards, had no TDs and threw three interceptions.

His No. 1 draft pick odds lengthened to +700 from +600 after the performance.

Quinn Ewers from Texas also saw his odds tumble after the Longhorns fell to Georgia.

Last week, he was tied with Beck at +600. Now, he’s moved to +750.

And Ewers has company at +750, as Travis Hunter and Cam Ward share the same odds.

What makes Miami’s Cam Ward an NFL caliber prospect?

Ward surged up the board from +1000 after the Hurricanes escaped Louisville, 52-45, and Travis Hunter stayed put after the Buffs beat the Wildcats.

Hunter’s odds, however, have made a huge jump over the last three weeks, moving from +1800 in that time frame.

And according to FOX Sports NFL Draft analyst Rob Rang, his unique talent as both a wide receiver and cornerback increases his draft stock.

Travis Hunter vs Ashton Jeanty: ‘They won’t give Heisman to a Boise State RB!’

“Well into my third decade of professionally evaluating college prospects for pro football, I can honestly say that I’ve never seen a player quite like Colorado’s do-everything dynamo and Heisman Trophy contender, Travis Hunter,” Rang wrote.

“If Hunter were to focus on just one of the positions he plays, he is talented enough to warrant a top-10 draft selection. If teams feel that he is able to play both positions in the NFL as dominantly as he has for Colorado, he just might be the No. 1 overall selection — which is exactly where I placed him in my early mock draft.”

A little further down the board is Alabama’s Jalen Milroe, who dropped to +1500 from +1000 after the Tide’s 24-17 loss to Tennessee.
