2025 NFL Draft No. 1 pick odds: Shedeur Sanders favored, Travis Hunter closing in
Shedeur Sanders is the favorite to get chosen first in the 2025 NFL draft for the seventh consecutive week.
At the end of April, Sanders opened as the favorite in this spot. But in September, his odds had gotten as long as +850, dropping him to fourth on the list.
Now he’s on top with the shortest odds at +125, moving from +170 over the last week.
Let’s take a look at the odds to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft at FanDuel Sportsbook as of Dec. 3.

After Sanders is his teammate Travis Hunter.
And the two-way player’s odds moved to +250 from +300 over the last week and from +750 over the last four weeks.
“We have never seen a cornerback selected No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft, but, of course, Hunter is unprecedented in many ways,” FOX Sports NFL Draft analyst Rob Rangwrote about Hunter. “The Jaguars certainly could use the help.
“Besides filling a need, Hunter is a dynamic and instinctive player, who, alongside flashy rookie Brian Thomas Jr. at wide receiver could give the Jaguars the playmakers to help Trevor Lawrence turn around a franchise needing bankable talent.”
Rounding out the top three is Miami’s Cam Ward.
He moved to +850 from +1100 after Week 14.
Further down the board are Drew Allar, Cade Klubnik, Carson Beck and James Pearce — all tied at +9500.
