2025 NFL Draft No. 1 pick odds: Shedeur Sanders stumbles; Beck atop board

At the end of April, Shedeur Sanders opened as the favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

However, two weeks into the season, he’s now tied for second on the board, as his odds appear to be lengthening by the week.

Let’s take a look at the odds to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Sept. 11.

Carson Beck, Georgia: +320 (bet $10 to win $42 total)

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)

James Pearce Jr., Tennessee: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)

Quinn Ewers, Texas: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)

Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)

Cam Ward, Miami: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)

Mykel Williams, Georgia: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

Will Campbell, LSU: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

Travis Hunter, Colorado: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

Jalen Milroe, Alabama: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

In Colorado’s Week 1 win over North Dakota State, Sanders completed 26 of 34 passes, finishing with 445 passing yards, four touchdowns and one interception.

Still, the Buffs eked out a 31-26 victory, while Beck’s No. 1 Bulldogs dominated then-No. 14 Clemson 34-3.

Beck went 23-for-33 passing for 278 yards and two touchdowns.

Then, in Week 2, Beck only got better, albeit against Tennessee Tech. He completed 18 of 25 passes for 242 yards and five scores in a 48-3 win.

Meanwhile, Sanders and the Buffaloes suffered their first loss of the season, a 28-10 loss at Nebraska. Sanders was 23-for-38 passing for 244 yards, a touchdown and a pick.

He was sacked five times in that game and had -30 yards rushing, finishing with a QBR of 24.4.

Sanders also made headlines after the game, when he appeared to throw his offensive line under the bus, commenting to a reporter, “How many times did [Nebraska quarterback Dylan] Raiola get touched?”

Raiola was not sacked once against Colorado.
