Adient joint venture buyout price cut by $10 million

The deal marks the end of Adient’s years-long divestiture of its interiors business. In 2014, Johnson Controls spun off its entire $3 billion interiors business to a joint venture with Yanfeng. JCI then spun off its auto seating business, including the JV, to form Adient.
