Automakers pledge more connected cars in FCC airwaves battle

The Alliance for Automotive Innovation said companies will install at least five million so-called vehicle-to-everything radios on cars and roadside infrastructure over the next five years if the FCC backs off its proposal to take away the frequencies that carry those signals.
