Cox Automotive names Scott LeTourneau as CFO

Cox Automotive named Scott LeTourneau its new CFO, promoting an executive who has been with the company since 2012.

LeTourneau, 45, will replace Mark Bowser, 67, who will retire at the end of 2023 after 11 years at Cox Communications and six as the Cox Automotive CFO.

LeTourneau most recently was senior vice president of corporate development for corporate parent Cox Enterprises. While there, he led acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures for Cox Enterprises, Cox Automotive and Cox Communications. Before that, he held the same role at Cox Communications.

“He has played a critical role in the growth and evolution of our business at Cox Enterprises, and I look forward to seeing his impact at Cox Automotive,” Dallas Clement, CFO of Cox Enterprises, said in prepared remarks.

LeTourneau has worked with Cox since 2012 in a number of other corporate development roles. He officially assumes the new job on Sept. 19.

Cox is having LeTourneau and Bowser work together over the next several months to ensure a smooth transition.

Cox Automotive sells software and other products and services to dealers, retailers, automakers, cars shoppers, lenders and fleet owners.
