Euro 2024 odds, predictions, picks: Spain heavily favored after eliminating France

And then there were four.

The Euro semis are set. The lone favorite Spain will take on France (Tuesday, 3 p.m. ET, FOX and the FOX Sports App), while England will take on the Netherlands (Wednesday, 3 p.m. ET, FOX and the FOX Sports App), with a spot in the finals on the line.

Spain currently sits at +190 after beating Germany in an instant classic in the quarterfinals. Throughout the majority of the tournament, either England or France was atop the oddsboard.

Through its first five games of the tournament, Spain has not lost and has outscored its opponents 11-2 in that span, guided by the young duo of Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal.

Let’s take a look at the updated odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of July 9.

ODDS TO WIN UEFA EURO 2024:

Spain: +190 (bet $10 to win $29 total)

England: +250 (bet $10 to win $35.50 total)

France: +275 (bet $10 to win $37.50 total)

Netherlands: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)

It’s not all roses for Spain, however.

The title favorites will enter their duel with France without star midfielder Pedri, who suffered a knee injury against Germany, and will also be without defender Dani Carvajal, who received two yellow cards against Germany.

Still, despite the absence of two key starters, FOX Sports’ Martin Rogers believes Spain should still be favored, due to its depth and commitment to team success.

“There is a collective willingness in Spain’s group to play for the greater good of the team,” Rogers wrote. “Even Carvajal was a case in point. His challenge on Jamal Musiala for the second yellow card looked clumsy, but he knew what he was doing and that stopping his opponent from getting a cross in was more important in that moment than avoiding another booking.

“That’s the kind of level of commitment Spain has. And that’s why they are still the team to beat, with just a week of Euro 2024 left.”

Pre-tournament futures bet via Chris “The Bear” Fallica:

The Dutch are always a popular pick to break through and win one of these major tournaments, but seven or so months out, I think the Oranje have a shot at making some noise this summer. Assuming they finish second to France in their group, that likely puts them in a Round of 16 match with Slovakia or Romania.

Portugal would be the highestrated potential quarterfinal opponent, and in the semis could be Germany — which hasn’t been great in the last few international tournaments — or Spain. With depth and strength in the midfield and on defense, this Dutch side could make a very deep, dark-horse run.

PICK: Netherlands (+1600 at time of pick) to win UEFA Euro 2024*
