The2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup continued Monday (on FS1 and the FOX Sports app) asMorocco took the field for the second time in its2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup history with a Group H match againstSouth Korea at Coopers Stadium in Hindmarsh, South Australia on Sunday.
Both teams had been looking for their first wins in the Group Stage, with Morocco seeking its first-ever World Cup win.
The Moroccans collected their first World Cup goal early on when Ibtissam Jraïdi scored in just the sixth minute, in what ended up being the lone goal of the match. That goal was enough to make history and give Morocco the first win and keep its hopes alive of advancing from Group H.

Salma Amani delivered a strong kick from the middle of the box and nearly gave Morocco the 2-0 edge.

The Taegeuk Ladies very nearly tied the match with a kick that was missed just wide to the left from right in front of the net.
