VW nears deal to shift Detroit area offices

Sources told Crain’s Detroit Business that the automaker’s plan involve moving its employees in Auburn Hills to an office complex in Southfield — and building an addition west of the complex for lab and tech space. Negotiations are not final, and no leases are signed yet, sources said.
